Day Four

Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform, RMDS, Data Feeds and System Management

Thursday 25 October 2012

This course unit provides a more detailed understanding of the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform and its predecessor RMDS, this whole day unit aims to provide a broad coverage of both the theory and practical experience. It is of benefit to those wanting to better understand an existing RMDS installation and its capabilities, or to gain an insight into the enhancements and changes incorporated into the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform. The core components are individually assessed and their function and features investigated. Illustrations of functionality will be provided from a Test RMDS system. The benefits and challenges of integrating Third Party Data sources into this Open Platform environment are illustrated with real world examples.
